slow is the path but we must move forward. transient moments. clipped, liquid.

We should have a moment of silence, for Phoebe Prince, the Massachusetts teenager, who killed herself after enduring months of abusive bullying.
The thought of this poor girl suffering whilst no parents , teachers or other students did a thing to stop it, makes me sick to my stomach, whats even worse is one of the parents of the bullyers blames the victim. you cant even call these people human.
the degree of chickenshit apathy exhibited by the faculty, students and parents is beyond comprehension, If we as people have devolved to this level then we need to be wiped out, we are of no use to this planet.
"The charges against the South Hadley teenagers raise another question: What about the adults? Scheibel said Monday that the harassment in the library "appears to have been conducted in the presence of a faculty member and several students but went unreported to school administrators until after Phoebe's death." And, more damningly, "The investigation has revealed that certain faculty, staff and administrators of the high school also were alerted to the harassment of Phoebe Prince before her death." THe spinless DA has not charged any of the adults in this case we can only hope this changes , they are the most responsible for this tragedy and should be stripped of all rights as soon as possible,There is no punishment too sever for these subhuman cretins where in the fuck is the humanity,basic human empathy, compassion,knowledge of right and wrong, maybe this state of callous disregard for anything except selfish amusement is the new state of being just look at how politicians act, look at how some parents act at childrens sports events, This has to stop now!
THis has to be the last time people do nothing when some innocent person who just wants to go to school and do normal teenage things is allowed to be
bullied to the point of killing herself, everyone is guilty in this tragedy and all should be held accountable, and for the parent who blames the victim there is a special place in hell for you, but lets hope your remaining time on earth is endless slow motion torment.

whilst contemplating the inhumane horrors of the Phoebe Prince case i thought of some observations
We as a society value success over personal excellence. Think they are related, wrong. Here is one of the best explanation of the difference

look at the groveling insensitive superintendent monkey( By all accounts a successful person) See how he sacrifices the integrity of Phoebe, to save himself , his image and his position. All to preserve his image of success. If the faculty, the students, everyone involved were motivated by excellence rather then success it would not have happened . Those tormentors were considered popular and therefore successful.
People will sell their souls to preserve and attain success. to get that little pat on the back,the big house, the money , the power, the envy. To those in pursuit of excellence,those things are meaningless.
Had this weasel been motivated by excellence,
the satisfaction of doing his job to the best of his ability and actually caring about it, he would have paid attention and stopped the bullying.
He did not care for the kids, only for his image.
notice how he still grovels and clings. it the wake of his selfishness we have a dead student. Politicians are notorious for their gleeful pursuit of success over excellence. if they followed the excellence creed we would not have an 8 trillion dollar debt a failing social security system and an uncertain future for our kids. The Jeffersonian ideal of fairness for all, opportunity for all, would be alive and thriving. we would not have billionaire hedge fund managers getting rich who produce and create nothing. yet those bastards getting rich off a rigged system and your tax dollars are considered a success. success at what?

here we heap praise after praise on the powerful, wealthy and those with status. while they prove time and again their profound lack of character and integrity. Lets stop the praise and ignore them
Prime example of success over excellence is Sarah Palin, by societies accounts she is a success. makes a ton of money just by speaking nonsense, had someone ghostwrite a book for her( i doubt she can write) but is never ever excellent. Think about that.

while the common worker who strives to do his or her personal best day after day without recognition isn't

blue roses my tribute to the beautiful blue and the significance of unattainable bliss
Symbolism : Love and prosperity for those who seek, also mystery or attaining the impossible or a never ending quest for the impossible and/or unattainable. They are believed to grant the owner/receiver youth or grant wishes. In Victorian times they symbolized love at first sight or being enchanted by someone or something. In Chinese folklore it symbolizes hope against unattainable love.
why the blue rose. the blue is the forgotten rose. also the most seductive. It has the most important symbolism.
It is my believe that the yearning or desire for the impossible is one on the most important quests one can take on in ones life.
Why?
By doing so we open ourselves up to the wonder of the child's uncorrupted unhindered mind
a way of seeing with the child's eyes A world where all things are possible.
As we grow older our frame of reference often shrinks. The daily suffocating routines of modern life. The un fulfilling job, the incomplete relationships, the diminished expectations, the settling for the mediocre or the just OK. The worst is the accepting of this incompleteness as final truth.
These all add up to imprison the mind , soul, and spirit, killing joy and the sense of wonder.
It's not a fast death, more like sinking in slow motion quicksand. taking a little more each day.
Until your left wondering what the hell went wrong .
The yearning for the impossible or unattainable counters this, by opening us up to 'the just maybe this can happen, maybe these impossible dreams and wishes just might come true. This at once brings about the joy of possibilities,in turn this energizes the mind and lifts the spirits. It breaks thru the torpor. loosening inertia. This state of mind is the real truth.
We are as much what we think as we are what we do. All actions initially start as thought. Lets make those thoughts great ones so what if people think your foolish or childish or any other unnecessary label. Let them suffer in their own limitations.whilst slowly sinking.
SO go ahead and plant a blue rose, and raise a toast to those who desire the impossible for they are the ones who create this world and the ones who you will follow.
One foolish thought done with passion is worth a million common ones
